This chapter focuses on the support that may be needed by those living with and beyond cancer. This reflects the understanding that the consequences of treatment can be multidimensional and varied in intensity and individual impact. These effects commonly embrace a wide range of physical consequences interlinked to significant psychological and social consequences (Brem & Kumar [27]). In acknowledging this multidimensional experience, the chapter focuses on the practical processes and procedures related to such problems, including communication for those with laryngectomies and issues associated with day‐to‐day living including welfare advice. It also includes procedures that address physical issues so nutritional support, living with lymphoedema, managing breathlessness, coping with physical activity and fatigue are addressed. It also includes procedures related to emotional problems including assessment of sexual and body image concerns and nipple tattooing.
